Letter from the President

Greetings!

It is now the year of the dragon and as the president of TWCGP for 2012, I invite you to join the Taiwanese Women’s Club of Greater Portland for an exciting and fulfilling year.

We are an equal opportunity, nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the community through charity work while simultaneously promoting the independence of the people of Taiwan. Although everybody leads their own individual lives, this club allows people to come together for a common cause and participate in something bigger.  

Thus, I encourage all who are interested to join us in our fight to preserve the legacy and culture of Taiwan. Any support is appreciated!

大家好！

現在是龍年，作為2012年的TWCGP會長，在此邀請  您加入大波特蘭區台灣婦女會，以迎接一個令人興奮又充實的一年。

我們是一個機會平等、通過慈善工作致力於社會服務的非營利組織，同時也促進台灣人民的獨立。雖然每個人都有他們各自的生活，大波特蘭區台灣婦女會歡迎大家為了共同的理想及參與更大的事業而齊聚一堂。

因此，我鼓勵所有有興趣的人加入我們的奮鬥行列，以維護台灣的傳統和文化。任何的支持，我都心存感激與讚賞！
